"Like so many, my dog is my pride and joy and holds a very special place in my heart. After much research, I found in Leading Dogs people whom I trust 100% to look after my wonderful Border Terrier and who I know will treat him with the same love and care as I would. But dont take my word for it, if Im walking my dog in the park and happen to see Abbey and her pack, he 's over like a shot to see his pup friends and Abbey, wagging tail in full effect. Actions speak louder than words! Abbey has a truly wonderful way with all the dogs she looks after and is a true expert in her field." - Ari's Mummy, Battersea

"I cannot tell you how much Leo loves Abbey and her team. Our greatest joy on Wednesday morning is to hear the bell ring and for some reason Leo understands that it's time to go walking with you. He gets so excited, running everywhere, making all sorts of funny noises and when we open the front door the scene is just unbelievable, and so moving. Jumping on you, kissing you, running around you. I am just amazed because he only sees you once a week but the impact you have on him is just tremendous !!! Such a fabulous bound between you two. Thanks to Leading dogs I know he has a ball!" - Leo's Mummy, Belgravia

"I never write reviews, but I'd like to thank Abbey and her wonderful team for making the way I live my life at all possible! Thanks to you, Abbey, I can travel and work all over the world with a near to clear conscience. I can just tell she enjoys every second playing and being with her chosen fun, extended family! You have created such a personal loving dog camp and have selflessly given Lady the chance to just be a dog in her perfect doggie world, which of course evolves around her and her friends!

It makes such a difference knowing that shy little Ladybug is with her pack - and is never locked in a cage and only let out twice a day - but instead participates in 'normal' day to day life with necessary rules and lots of cuddles.

I'd also like to thank you for being patient with Lady and understanding her. As all my friends know, no-one except me can normally come close to her! Remember the first time how she hid under the bed?! Now when she hears your van she squeals with delight and runs to the door waiting to show you how much she's missed you! I also think that her being in a controlled environment with an experienced carer and other well behaved dogs has helped her enormously and she is becoming a more carefree happy dog, radiating a love for life, as all dogs always would in a perfect world." - Lady's Mummy, Kensington

"Abbey has become part of the family and takes as good care (if not better) of our dogs as we do. Abbey is 100% reliable, kind, caring, knowledgeable, trustworthy and is always prepared to go the extra mile. Our dogs love her, so do we." - Molly & Jacko's Mummy, Fulham

"Abbey came into our lives in December 2009 when we were at our wits end with a beautiful, and quite "special" but untrainable, black labrador, Bruno. He was about 6 months old and still not house trained, very unusual for a Lab, and he didn't have the best behaviour either. Abbey came to our house and instantly I knew she would help us. Abbey puts her heart and soul into the dogs, it's not just a job to her, there is a real care and concern. Bruno is two and a half now and still goes on walks with Abbey weekly, he is a different dog now but most importantly he is still so excited when the door opens to see Abbey waiting for him. I always tell her she is the female version of The Dog Whisperer." - Bruno's Mummy, Belgravia

"Henry and I are so very lucky to have Abbey to be part of our daily lives! Abbey looked after Henry on a daily basis while he was only puppy at 8 weeks. We relocated to Singapore and a year on we have returned and Abbey is still very much part of our lives. Abbey is always willing to pick up Henry even if it is for last minute Walkies, Boarding, Grooming, VET or even Food collection. I adore Henry's excited, energetic behaviour when he returns home in 1st class Transport after a jolly fun day out with Abbey and the other dogs. The smile on Henry's face shows me that he thoroughly enjoyed Abbey and the other dogs' company. Abbey's care, friendly manner, welcoming smile and flexibility goes a very long way. Abbey you are truly a life saver! Henry and I adore you!" - Henry's Daddy, Kensington
